May 21,2015 – M.O.M.S. made donation to a Military Veteran for Funeral expenses after a motorcycle accident.

April 25,2015 – Dedication Service at VFW in Woodland Hills Honoring our fallen soldiers.

On September 14, 2014 – M.O.M.S. along with council members Englander and Zine, were successful in getting a Designation sign at said intersection that reads M.O.M.S. in honor of Jesse A. Wilkes- USMC – (shown here) commemorating that installation of the left hand turn arrow and the dedication sign at the intersection in honor of Jesse Allen Wilkes.

On April 23rd, 2014 – M.O.M.S. received two beautiful proclamations from the City of Los Angeles, Recognizing the Jesse Allen Wilkes Memorial Intersection and the M.O.M.S. foundation.
During this time, on multiple occasions M.O.M.S. made donations to Military Veteran’s for rehabilitation after Motorcycle accidents.

February 23, 2014 – Council members Dennis Zine and Mitchell Englander, along M.O.M.S. were the driving force in getting the installation of a Designated Left-Hand Turn Arrow at the intersection of Devonshire and Winnetka in Chatsworth.

On December 1, 2013 – there was a Brick laying ceremony at Memorial Park in Chatsworth where a Memorial Brick was placed honoring Jesse.

These milestones all took time. And we all know time is limited and it’s the thing we can least afford to waste or lose. Volunteers do not have more time, they simply have an unmatched desire to feel connect; and a strong belief that their effort can impact their community.
